On a recent holiday you lost a valuable item. You have travel insurance to cover the cost anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of the insurance company. In the letter you should:
• describe the item that you lost
• explain how you lost it
• tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir/Madam
I would like to make a claim for losing my cellphone and get it refunded by insurance company.
Me and my partner was travelling in Bali for a vacation and I lost my iphone 7. It is not a new model but is really important to me because it have all my travel pictures there and I use it for communications.
Stayed in Ubud but we wanted to see waterfalls so we took a bus to travel in the jungle. After we started to travel back I notice that my phone wasn’t in my pocket anymore. We were looking around but did not find it anywhere. Then I realized that it might fall out of my pocket when we were crossing a river as it was the most difficult part in our path way back.
As I have insurance which is covered for cases like this I would like to make a claim. Unfortunately it can’t be replaced anymore and there is no need to replace it to a new one as it is old model then I think it would be the best to get it refunded for me.
Looking forward hearing back to you soon.
Kind regards
Jenna Smith
