More people decided to have children in their later age than in the past. Why? Do advantages of this outweigh disadvantages?
Nowadays, there is a significant increase in the growth rate of the population. This has led the public to explore the idea of starting a family at a later age than in the past. The benefits that of this move far outweigh its drawbacks for number of reasons.
Wanting children has been the ultimate desire of every couple. This is because having an offspring is their right as it provides happiness to them. It is already printed in the minds in every family that they can survive this turn-around of events in the long term even if they are still going to build their own careers. This is evident in most of the families in the Philippines where any couple can start their own jubilant family as early as 16 or 15 years old. However, this joy may lead to inevitable crisis as soon as the young ones starts to grow up. Sooner or later, they begin to realize that having children at an early age is detrimental as this leads them to experience financial issues.
Those who chose to begin having a family at a later period see that they want to focus more on their career and be an achiever in every aspect in the fast pace of life. This is because having to conceive children will hinder their success and will cause them to fail. Apart from this, they also want to ensure that they have a stable future which is why they want to save as much as they can. Most of the professional employees see this as a good move to ensure their partners and children do not to suffer the consequences being negligent making life choices. As they progress, they soon find out that they are capable enough to handle the issues related to starting a unit of their own.
By and large, the advantages of starting a family at a later age clearly outweighs the disadvantages. Not only that these provide people enough time for them to be successful, these also help them to save up for a stable future.
