The pie charts and table give information about the total value and sources of fish imported to the U.S between 1988 and 2000.
Usually countries keep a record of their imports and exports and the origin. This table and this charts displays a review of the value of fish shipped from abroad to the US from 1988 to 2000.
Overall, the total cost of fish was the highest in 2000. It’s spotted that fish was mostly transported from Canada than any other country in 1988. Other countries aside from Canada and china have increased their trade through 1992 and 2000.
To start with, in 1988 the total value was the least among the three years. But the increase through the years has been gradually, the difference between each year was around 2.5 billion dollars. Moving on, in 1988 China was only providing less than a quarter being the least. On the other hand, China showed a slight increase in 1922 and 2000.
Then, a drastic change has been recognized from other countries, increasing by 19% from 1988 to 1992. In addition to Canada declining from 1988 to 1992 by 26%.
