All three maps show changes that have taken place at West Park Secondary School over the time from 1950 to 2010.
Overall, it is clear from the diagrams that the school and its premises have changed a lot. Till 1980, there was no car parking and science block building, sports field were also developed beside school building. From the 2010 map, we can notice some major rearrangements of all entities.
It is evident from the 1980 map that the car parking, science block and sports field developed near the school area while a number of houses and farmland removed from the area. Additionally, the former school building also converted into the main building of the school. While with all these changes, the playground didn't change at all till 1980.
Turning to the second map of 2010, there are not any new buildings developed but instead, the earlier buildings are relocated and their boundaries have changed. For instance, the location of car parking is not similar to that of 1980 as now, it has a larger area. Subsequently, the size of sports field and playground have been reduced.
