You are going to another country to study. You would like to do a part-time job while you are studying, so you want to ask a friend who lives there for some help.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter
- Give details of your study plans
- Explain why you want to get a part-time job
- Suggest how your friend could help you find a job
Dear Friend,
Hope you are doing great. I am writing this letter to give you an exciting news that I am coming to Canada, near you to do an Education degree in music. For this, I require your support.
I am going to join The High school of music to pursue a Master's degree. I have enrolled in the coming spring semester. The course is four years long. All my classes are in the morning and in alternate days. I have free evenings.
I want a part-time job at the earliest. As you know, I am not financially stable. I had applied for need-based fully paid scholarship, but unfortunately did not get the opportunity. So, to meet the living expenditures and the academic fees, I need some source of earning.
As you are already living there. You must have an idea about the local opera music centers, the music ensembles, and the orchestras. it would be your appreciated effort, if you can check them for any part-time job availability. Please, do let me know if you can make it.
I look forward to hearing from you at the earliest.
Regards,
