Below is the map of Canterbury town. There is a plan of building a new school in this town where two possible sites (S1) and (S2) have been proposed.

Showed by the map is the information about two proposed sites for a new school for the town of Catenbury.

The first potential site (S1) is sited in the west of the city, which is close to the main roads to Sturry in which there are 7,000 people live in, lying 5 kilometres to north-east. Thus, it would offer an easy access for students living both in Sturry and Canterbury. This proposed site is located in countryside and so it would provide convenience for pupils to learn during the class.

In contrast, the suggested location, S2, is right in the centre of the city covered by residential areas, which would be good for local residents. This, however, is a non-traffic zone area, where either parents and teachers would be unable to park their transports and difficult to access the school. The site close to the main roads which lies 7 kilometres to south-west could be an easy access for 4,500 people who live in Chartham. Additionally, on the top site, there is a university, in countryside area.

Overall, it can be seen that S1 would bring advantages, especially for whoever lives in Sturry and Canterbury.
