Overall, the Former Soviet Union accounted for the least usage of oil whereas, the most significant consumer of oil was USA and Canada. Likewise, the largest segment in terms of production was the Middle East however, Europe was the least significant producer of the fuel.
On the one hand, the major consumer of oil was the USA and Canada and the usage of these nations were almost one-third of the total consumption. Meanwhile, Europe made up the third place in the list with an annual consumption of 21.4%. Similarly. Asia-Pacific had exhausted 27.8% of the world oil. In comparison, Middle East, Former Soviet Union, and Africa depleted fossil fuel steadily at the rate of 5.7%, 4.5% and 3.3%.
On the contrary, the substantial producer of fuel was the Middle East and provide almost 30% of oil. Furthermore, the contribution towards oil generation was moderately the same for Africa, Asia Pacific and the Former Soviet Union that goes for 10.5%, 10.7%, and 11.7%. Moreover, The USA and Canada produced almost three-fifths of their consumption. Finally, the utilization rates of Europe and Latin America recorded around 9% globally.
