The maps describe the structure of the James park in 2017 and the layout after the renovation in 2020.
Overall, the visitors to the park in 2017 are 5,000 and are expected to increase about 20,000 in 2027. In addition, Some noticeable changes were planned for 2027.
In 2017, The Statue is located at the center of the park. Science centre was to the northeast of the park. The fountain was located at the north-west of the park followed by a Toddler playground at the south-west and Main playground to the south-east. Moreover, there is a little gap from the north and south for the fountain and main playground respectively. The path was very simple from left to right connecting Toddler playground and Main playground.
As per the plan, Toddler playground will be replaced by Theatre, Gymnasium is planned to be added in the gap in the south and science centre will be expanded furthermore to the right. In addition, the fountain will be replaced by the garden and statue will remain unaltered. On the other hand, Path is planned to become more complicated from left to right connecting everything.
