Overall, there are fewer structures in the current map of the centre of a small town of Islip whereas in the future plan for the renovations of the central business district of Islip, the roads infrastructure shall be improved and together with the construction of a shopping centre and a walking path for pedestrians only.
At present, the centre of Islip town has fewer structures as compared to the proposed future plan.There is a countryside to the north of the town and the parking space seems to be bigger than in the future plan.
The upcoming plan for Islip central business district,the road network shall be improved with the construction of the dual carriage way which will connects the centre of the town in all directions in a circular manner.The northen part will have the bus station, new housing and the pedestrian walking path constructed.The car park on the south-eastern part of the centre of the town has been reduced in size comparatively to the present structure.
