You have just returned home after living with a family in an English-speaking country for six months. You now realize that you left a small bag of personal possessions in your room. Write to the family describing the things you left behind. Ask them to send some or all of them to you. Offer to cover the coasts.
Dear ABC,
I hope you and your family are all well. I would take this opportunity to again thank you for your warm hospitality during my six months stay in London. However, I am writing this letter to inform that I left my black sports bag at your place by mistake.
It is a small bag from Adidas Company and contains my sportswear, wrist watch and a gaming gadget. Though it does not contain many things but the few items it has are precious to me as I have grown fondness towards them. For example, for every morning run I always carry the wrist watch to time my run and measure the distance covered. Without it, I somehow lack the motivation to exercise. Had it been cheap, I would have bought a new one, but I had already spent a fortune on it. So, I humbly request you to send the bag as a courier to my address, and I would be ever so grateful to you.
Needless to say the courier cost would be borne by me. For that I have already transferred the required amount to your bank account.
Thank you so much in advance and give my warm regards to your family.
Yours sincerely,
XYZ
