The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different attractions in Brighton.

The line graph compares how many tourists to England who visited the art Gallery, Pavilion, Pier and Festival in Brighton from 1980 to 2010.

Overall, despite fluctuations the number of tourists who went to the Pavilion and Pier increased while art Museum's figure decreased significantly over the period given. It is also noticeable that holiday spenders who went for the Festival remained relatively the same.

Between 1980 and 1995, there was a sharp increase of tourists in the Pavilion from around 23% to about 48%, after which the figure dropped steadily to just over 30% in 2010. Similarly, the percentage of tourists visiting the Pier started from 10% in 1980 and went up dramatically to just above 20% in 2010.

The number of holiday spenders who decided to see the Art Gallery in 1980 was almost the same figure that of the Pavilion at 23% and rocketed to peak at approximately 28% in 1985, before plummeting to hit a low of just under 10% in 2010. Festival's figure hovered between 25% and 30% throughout the entire period.
