The impact of the internet on privacy.
Discuss and give your opinion.
In modern times, the privacy on the internet has become highly controversial. Some people prefer to maintain their privacy on the internet by avoiding post their personal things, such as pictures, opinions and contact information. While others do not mind to share their personal life on the internet. In this essay I will discuss both sides of the argument and provide my overall opinion.
Generally speaking, there are a variety reasons why people prefer to keep their personal information away from the internet. Perhaps the main reason is because they think that their information can lead Hackers to be able to access their accounts and use their information against them. By the information, hackers can also have the ability to reach to their Visa card and steal money as much as the hackers can. As a result of this, people may lose all their possessions and their money too. For example, the latest statistics indicate that people who had shared their personal information might be hacked in the rate of 72 per cent.
On the other hand, vast majority of people have no problem to share their personal information on the internet. They think that it is normal to post my pictures and say my opinion on what I agree with and what I do not agree with. Also, some people share their personal information deliberately to obtain followers and fans. For instance, many of famous people posts their pictures and publish their verdicts to make followers which let them to make money by advertising.
In conclusion, privacy on the internet is a topic which raises strong passions on both sides of the argument. I tend to believe that personal information should keep away from the internet even though it was a simple information as well as pictures and contact information.
