The diagrams illustrate the processes and equipments used to make cement and how it is used in the production of concrete.
In the beginning, limestone and clay are introduced to crusher that produces a powder. This powder is passed through the mixer before it is processed through rotating heater, which requires heat to work. Going further, the mixture goes into the grinder as to make cement. At the end, the cement is packed in the bags
Referring to concrete production, the process comprises four elements namely; water (10%), cement (15%), sand (25%) and gravel (50%), which are put into a machine called concrete mixer. It rotates clockwise so as to make concrete of the above mention ingredients.
Summing up, it could be said that cement production is a part of concrete production as cement is required to produce concrete. It is also worth noting that it is necessary to use more materials than the latter process in order to obtain the final product.
