The first chart illustrates the proportion of energy comsumption by different types of household equipment in Australia, and the second chart indicates the amount of greenhouse gas emitted by these machines.
The intial impression which can be seen from the two charts is energy consumed by heating system contribute the greatest proportion while its greenhouse gas emissions is minor to other household eqiupments.
The consumption of machine used for heating comprise of 42% of total energy used in each household, while the greenhouse gas it emitted contribute 15% of total emision.
The figure for energy consumption by water heating equipments is 30%, while the proportion for the greenhouse gas they produced is nearly the same (32%). There is a similarity with the data of cooling machine, which uses 2% of total energy consumption and contributes 3% of total greenhouse gas emissions.
The consumption of refridgerators and lighting are 7% and 4% respectively, however, the figure for greenhouse gas disposed by these equipment is doubled. The data of other appliances is almost similarly, with 15% for energy consumed and 28% of greenhouse gas produced.
