The graph shows the average number of Vietnamese students studying in France, Russia, and America between 2000 and 2015
The line graph gives information on how many Vietnamese students studying abroad in several countries such as France, Russia, and America from 2000 to 2015.
It is clear that both the number of Vietnamese students selecting France and America for learning increased, while the figure for Russia dumped. Overall, the figure for American seen the highest growth over the period shown.
In 2000, 3.5 million of Vietnamese students enrolling in France, higher than the figures for Russia and American was 0.5 million and 1.5 million students, respectively. After 5 years, these number for Russia and France experienced a decline by approximately 1 million students, in contrast, there was an increase by 1 million in the number of Vietnamese students learning at America.
However, the number of Vietnamese students learning in America witnessed a threefold rise to 5 million people in the next 15 years, surpassing France as the most popular country in 2015. In addition, the figure for France remained relatively stable during the period from 2005 to 2010, but later rose to nearly 4.7 million students in 2015. Finally, there was a fall by 500 Vietnamese students studying in France in 2010, which was followed by an increase to 2.5 million students in 2015.
