Given are the charts depicting yearly expenditure of a UK education institute in three different years over 20-year timeline.
From an overall perspective, paying salary for teachers and workers dominated in total cost whereas the outgoings of insurance is the least amount from 1981 to 2001.
As is visible in the illustration, salary payment for teachers consituted the highest proportion with the rate of 40% in 1981, slightly rose to 50% in 1991 before there was a small decrease of 5% to 45% at the end of the period. Following this element was worker’s wages with a downtrend from 28% in the beginning to 15% in 2001.
In contrast, expense of insurance item witnessed a considerable increase from only 2% in 1981 to 3% in 1991 before up to 8% in the end.
Furthermore, there was a fluctuation without a specific trend in terms of outlays on resources as books and furniture and equipment. While cost for resources stood at 15% in 1981, which was followed by a 5-percent raise to 20% at the middle of period before plummeting roughly double to 9% in 2001, furniture and equipment saw a sharp slump from 15% to 5% in the first 10-year period from 1981, then significantly soaring to take the second highest percentage of 23% in total spending in 2001.
