The line chart demonstrates how many girls per 100 boys attended various levels of school education in developed and developing countries in 1990 and 1998 and a target.
Overall, the number of girls living in developed countries enrolled in educational levels experienced the greatest quantity. However, in developing countries, when the level of education got higher, the less number of girls attended formal educational institution.
Looking at the graph, it is immediately obvious that the figures for female students who lived in developed nations were all below the target. There was a slight increase of 4 students witnessed in the number of girls attending primary education. However, while the number of female pupils pursuing secondary education went up from 72 in 1990 to 82 in 1998, that pursuing tertiary education was under 80.
In developed nations, the figures for female students attending primary education varied gently by 3%, whereas that enrolled in secondary education leveled off at just under 100. These numbers were both far below the level of girls pursuing tertiary education, with 105 in 1990 and 112 in 1998, letting the figure to being beyond the target.
