The chart given depicts the amount of water usage in 4 distinct nations, namely China, USA, Russia and Australia in 2010.
Most strikingly, while people in USA and Russia tended to use most of their water for industry, the opposite was true for that in China and Australia. Moreover, the vast majority of water was used for Agriculture in China.
As far as the statistics is concerned, the figure for water usage in USA and Russia had the same scenario since the amount of water used for Industry in both of them accounted for the largest percentage, which is roughly 45% and 60%, respectively and followed by Agriculture and Domestic. Moreover, 39% was the portion of water used for agriculture in USA and 30% was that in Russia. The figure for water usage in domestic in USA was roughly 2 in 10, which was 2 times as large as that in Russia, with a very small number of 10%.
Regarding the remainder, while the amount of water used for Agriculture in China contributed to the largest portion (at around 85%), Domestic was the section that consumed most of water in Australia (60%). Lastly, the figure for water usage for Industry in both nation shared approximately portion of 7% in China and 4% in Australia.
