On a recent holiday, you lost a valuable item. Fortunately, you have travel insurance to cover the cost of anything lost.
Write a letter to the manager of your insurance company. In your letter:
Describe the item you lost
Explain how you lost it
Tell the insurance company what you would like them to do
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to report the loss of my guitar, which was covered under your insurance policy, and it was lost during my holidays in Hong-Kong.
My name is Harpreet, and my policy number is 7798260. Let me explain what had happened exactly in detail. First of all, i took this guitar with me, as i wanted it to play it on my holidays. I vividly remember carrying this guitar almost everywhere i went. Unfortunately, while leaving the hotel, i forgot it in my room as far as i remember. However, when i called the hotel reception and asked if they found my guitar in the room, but as per them, there was nothing left in my room.
As this item was covered under my insurance policy, i would like to know how can i claim the amount for my lost guitar. Also, would it possible for you to share the complete process on my mail ID, which is already there in your records.
Please do let me know if any further details are required from my end. Hoping for your prompt response on this.
Yours faithfully.
