The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The presented maps illustrate how Grange Park, which is located between Arnold Avenue and Eldon Street, has been changed since the 1920 year, when it was opened for visitors.
Overall, although the present park has a lot of new objects to compare with previous years, some places are saved after years.
Firstly, it can be observed what places have been retained. Obviously, two entrances are located on the same spots, where they were at the moment of opening. Besides, Roses garden, which is situated on the left of entrance to Arnold Avenue, continues to be there.
Regarding changes, it is clear that the Amphitheater for concerts had replaced stage for musicians by present time. New rose garden appeared in the center of the park instead of Fountain, which was located there in 1920. On the right from the north entrance, the rose garden and the pond were changed by the cafe and play zone for children. The water feature, further, was constructed on the site of Glasshouse, which had been located near Eldon street gate. New noticeable change is the underground car park, whose entrance is near the water feature.
