working as a team
The reading states that organizations plan to have projects and gather members as a team. Besides, the author believes that it is really efficacious for all people who are involved. In contrast, the lecturer casts doubt on what the writer says and challenges the reading by asserting that working as a team renders to some undesirable results.
The author says that as a team there would be much more skill and and knwoledge and as a result they can decide efficiently. The lecturer hold an opposite view by saying that in a group project no name would be identified and no one would recognize the members who works so hard and the consequence would be recognized as a whole.
Second, the writer mentions that in a group people have the opportunity to react more quickly when they run into problems and they response more creatively. The lecturer challenges this by saying that there won't be no quick decision as long as it needs so many times to have consensus on one final desicion.
The writer asserts that people have more chance to shine while working in a group as a team. The lecturer finds this dubious and casts doubt on the idea by underlying that whenever there is opposite belief on a decision-making other members usually neglect it and when they fail at the end they blame it on all members.
