Six pie charts compare the proportion of the amount of water used for three different branches in various locations throughout the world.
It is clear that the most figure belonged to agricultural use while the figure for domestic purpose is the lowest.
Looking at these six areas, we can see that Africa, central Asia and South East Asia used over 80% of water for agriculture while the proportion of South America is slightly less with 71%. Additionally, the percentage of water used for agricultural purpose in North America and Europe is 39% and 32% respectively.
In the two other purposes, industry is the purpose which use more water with 53% in Europe and 48% in North America while the figure for four other areas are much lower ranging from 5% to 12%. The percentage of water for domestic use are usually smaller than the figure for industry except the cases of Africa and central Asia with just 2% higher.
