The graphs give information about computer ownership as a percentage of the population between 2002 and 2010, and by level of education for the same years.
The charts show the trends in and the correlation between the possession of computers and the educational level of their owners over the span of eight years from 2002 to 2010.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is apparent that the number of computer owners had increased in general and by education degree in particular. This is especially striking in the percentage of colleges and universities graduates, who purchased a computer.
As for details, only 60% owned a computer in 2002, and this figure increased steadily nearly 5% per year, reaching a peak of about 80% by the end of the period.
The percentage of computer owners between those who had no high education was only 15% in 2002 and increased nearly three times by 2010 (over 40%). With the rise in educational level, the number of owners went up and surged 90% among college graduates (in 2010). At the same time the outliers were bachelors and postgraduates with record high percentage over 90% by the end of observation period.
