The bar chart depicts information about the amount of money spent on computers, cars, books, perfumes and cameras in France and the United Kingdom in 2010.
Overall, the emerging fact from the chart is that the UK spent more money on consumer goods than France. Both regions spent most of their income on cars, the proportion of expenditure on perfumes was less in the UK compared to cameras in France.
Looking in more details in the car, the residents of the United Kingdom spent about £450,000 however, the figure in France was £ 400,000. Similarly, the British expenses higher on the book than the French around £ 400,000 and £ 300,000 respectively. In the UK, spending on cameras just over £350,000 was over double than France, which was only 150,000.
On the other hand, the proportion of money spent on the remaining goods was larger in France.
