You have recently moved to a different house.
Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter,
explain why you have moved
describe the new house
invite your friend to come and visit
Hi, dear John!
Fingers crossed, your project is over and you are having a great vacation.
I want to tell you that I moved to my new flat. You know I bought a new apartment in Moscow last year and I’ve gotten the key this month. This place for living is very comfortable. There are combined kitchen-living room and 2 bedrooms, one for me and one for my child. It means, that now my daughter and I have separated rooms and I have the big kitchen for cooking. In other words, everyone has a place for himself now.
In addition my apartment is located near the center of the city, but far away from traffic. As for my neighbors, they are really gentle and friendly people. I wish I had lived here earlier, but I didn’t have enough money.
Now, guess what, I want to invite you to visit me this weekend. I would really appreciate if you let me know the time that is convenient for you. I haven’t seen you for ages. It would be nice to catch up with you.
Looking forward to hearing you,
yours Kate.
