The table illustrates the amount of funds allocated by the USA, EU countries and other countries to developing regions, during a five years interval starting from 2006.
Overall, the greatest part of the donation was provided by the USA and all the nations increased their contribution during most of the interval.
In the beginning, a total amount of 15.7 million dollars was paid by the abovementioned countries, while the biggest share belonged to the US by 9.8 followed by European Union countries by 3.1 and other countries by 2.8 million dollars. All these areas maintained the same place in the upcoming years, leading to the final figures of 20.3, 4.1 and 37 respectively by 2010.
Although an inclining pattern is witnessed for all countries over the course of these years, there are two exceptions, for EU countries and other countries in 2009, resulting in a total reduction of funds, from 24.4 million dollars in 2008 to 23.5 million dollars in 2009. however, it was compensated by 2010 reaching to final aid of 28.1 million dollars.
