the effort to seek for standard certifications for wood companies will not lead to more companies favor to do
According to the reading, the effort to seek for standard certifications for wood companies will not lead to more companies favor to do it for three major important reasons, however, the lecturer finds all the ideas dubious and presents some evidence to refute them all.
First of all, the reading passage asserts that usually consumers don't pay enough attention to the advertisements entitled "new'" or "certified by standard organization". On the contrary, the professor holds the idea that people distinguish between certifications of independent organizations and only labeled products so, logically they attract to the first one.
Furthermore, the author claims that ecocertified products will be more expensive than the uncertified stuffs due to the fact that the company pay more money to achieve the certification. On the other hand, the lecturer brings up the idea that the decision criteria when the consumer wants to chose between two products is not only on the prices but also it depends on many factors that the cost is one of them.
Finally, the reading passage opines that pursuing certification affect the foreign commercial condition negatively but on the contrary, the lecturer dismisses this idea due to the fact that in trading, the foreign companies try to connect with domestic companies who have achieved independent international standards.
To sum up, both the author and the lecturer will have trouble finding common ground on this issue.
