The charts below show the average household expenditures in Japan and Malaysia in the year 2010
The pie charts compare the average proportion of household expensed in Japan and Malaysia based on five categories: housing, transport, food, healthcare and other services in the year 2010.
It can be obviously seen, the majority of expenditure on housing, other goods and services, food by both two nations citizens. In addition, while Japanese paid attention on other goods and services, Malaysian chose to spend money on housing in 2010.
The average of housing in Malaysia was the highest accounted for about a third of total compared to Japan which just constituted above 20 percent. The proportion of spending on food was more than other goods and services made up quite similar, just 27 percent and 26 percent respectively in malaysia. The ratio of transport accounted for nearly one out of ten, three-times as much as the figure for healthcare in this country.
It is clear that all the figures for Japan are similar with those in Malay. Japanese spent their budget mainly for three items which same as Malaysian, whereas the proportion of consuming on other goods and services was the largest, allocated approximately three-tenth. In terms of housing and food, the figures for both household expenses were nearly same, at 21 percent for housing and 24 percent for food. The average transport expenditures as around three-times larger as healthcare, constituted exactly two out of ten, saw a similar pattern with the ratio in Malaysia.
