The given line graph represents the proportion of various employment sectors in America between the time period of 1930 and 2010.
It is evident that the farming, fishing and foresting is the only category accounting for smaller segment over the times. On the other hand, the remaining patterns showed upward trajectories and eventually surpassed the fraction of farming, fishing and foresting which was the predominant sector at the beginning of the said period.
In terms of farming, fishing and foresting, in 1930, it provided occupations for 75% of the America citizens in workforce. But this figure saw a marginal drop until 1970. From 1970 onwards, a substantial change can be seen in the situation. The segment of UK populations working in this sector decreased precipitously from about 60% to almost only 2% in 2010.
On the contrary, other areas experienced reversed trends. The category showing the largest increase was industrial sector. In 1930, almost no one worked in this sector. However, there was a gradual growth until 1940, at which point this figure flattened out over the next 20 years. By the time 2010 entered, it had undergone a significant change with an almost 35% upsurge. Likewise, the remaining patterns rise slightly over the period shown despite some minor fluctuations.
