The table given provides a comparison of coffee beans production in six different regions from 1992 to 1998.
Overall, it can be seen that Asia and South America were the areas which had the largest number of cacao beans. It is also noticeable that North and Central America was the only area that had production of cacao beans remained unchanged over 6-year period.
Between 1992 and 1998, the coffee beans production in both Asia and Oceania followed the same pattern, which increased from 119,000 to 436,000 tons and from 40,000 to 77,000 tons respectively. Meanwhile, the amount of cacao beans in South America witnessed a fall from 143,000 tons in 1992 to 127,000 tons in 1996 before rising 3 times to 389,000 tons in 1998.
After experiencing a significant growth to 119,000 tons of coffee beans in Africa, the figure then dropped remarkably to 28,000 tons in 1998. In North and Central America, the amount of cacao produced both started and ended at 46,000 tons. Finally, in England, the figures fluctuated around 50,000 tons from 1992 to 1998.
