The pie charts indicate responses to a survey for postgraduates and undergraduates regarding the range of books and non-print material available in the university library. The option for students included “very good”, “satisfactory”, and “not good”.
Majority of the postgraduates were not at all happy with the range of books in the library while most undergraduates felt the range of books were very good. More than half the undergraduates were happy with the non print material available to them at the university library, whereas almost half of the postgraduates were just satisfied with it.
Most undergrads responded that the range of books available were between impressive and satisfactory, 39% and 29% respectively. Only a third of them felt that the range of books were not good. Over half of undergrads opined that the non-printed materials at the university library was fantastic, followed by 33% being satisfied and the remaining 12% of them were unhappy.
The negative response by the postgraduates on the range of books was at a whopping 65%. Only a mere 15% of postgrads felt that the collection was great and remaining 20% were just satisfied. On non-print material, nearly half of them were satisfied and the other half were divided between the collection being satisfactory and very good.
