The two maps compare the major progress of the town at Shipsmouth from 1995 to 2010. Overall, it appears that Shipsmouth has become a much more modern and crowed city, with far more transport and leisure activities.
In the top of the left-hand side of the map, the forest has been cut down and replaced by apartment blocks while the factory near the lake has been converted into shopping centre. In the right-hand side of the map, the forest has been removed and transformed into the airport. One interesting change is that the twin houses near the church have been pulled down and skyscrapers have been built at that place.
However, the city centre in the middle of the map unchanged but the car road in it has been pedestrianized. Another disappearing thing is that the station below the city centre also has been remained throughout the years. Besides, an area between the factory and station was used for building a football stadium in 2010 whereas a station has been introduced in the top of the map which has the same size with the older one.
