The diagrams provide information about how West Park Senior High School had undergone several changes since it was developed in 1950. From an overall perspective, it is apparent that extensive transformation had been experienced by residential areas and farm fields. Meanwhile, the main road location stayed in a similar place throughout the years.
According to the 1950's layout, the original structure of the school design consisted of four areas (housing, farmland, school building, and playground). In addition to the layout was the main road situated in the north of the school complex. However, several drastic changes were seen in the 1980's school layout in which the residential area was completedly transformed into two places which were the parking lot and science block. Furthermore, a complete change was also experienced by farmland, and it was changed into the sports field. The school building was redesigned into the main building of the school. Conversely, there was no change either in location or in the size of the playground area.
In 2010, massive redevelopment was experienced by various areas. First of all, the car park was extended to the south in which previously sports field was located. The sports field then moved to the east side and it occupied a third of the playground. Although the location of the playground was not changing, its size decreased to about two-thirds of its initial length. Additionally, there was no change in two buildings (since block and the main building of the school) in the years.
