The flow chart shows 'trampling', the negative effect of tourists walking in the countryside for the environment. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features.
The diagram provides information about the effect of trampling caused by tourist in rural are on the area. Overall, a common negative outcome is caused by the downgrade of vegetation and the environment
First of all, after being stumped or walked on by tourist, the soil would become harder and compacted, leading to the downgrade in air and water quality in the area. This will also affect the probability of reproduction and growing of plants. Consequently, there will be an increase in erosion, another factor responsible for the reduction in vegetation, since water is not retained in the soil.
Vegetation is also damaged when being stepped on. As the result, plants become weaker and cannot reproduce or grow leading to the reduction in vegetation. At the end, the area suffered from erosion and decreased quality of soil and vegetation because of two main reasons - reduced vegetation and water runs off the land.
