The line graph illustrates information about carbon dioxide release in air in four different countries United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, and Portugal from 1967 to 2007, moreover the emission was calculated in metric tonnes.
Overall, the amount of carbon dioxide was increased in Italy and Portugal with time while in other two countries Sweden and United Kingdom able to successfully reduce the green house gas. A noticeable fact that Sweden had seen fluctuation their initial years.
The graph clearly shows that the Portugal has seen gradual growth in carbon dioxide from about 1. 5 metric ton in 1967 to just above 3. 5 metric tonnes in 1987, for next decade the climb rate was sharp and increased 2 metric tonnes in ten years, reached 5. 6 metric tonnes after the growth rate steady. However, the Italy and Sweden had same growth rate in first decade almost 2 metric tonnes and after Italy steadily increased and reached near to 8 metric tonnes in 1997 and the emission was stable for next ten years wile in Sweden dramatically show deduction in emission and reached 4. 8 metrics tonnes. The UK had seen gradual decrease from 10. 5 in 1967 to 8. 5 in 2007 metric tonnes.
