The given maps illustrate Lynnfield town and its alterations during a period of time from 1936 to 2007.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the main features of town were completely changed and it converted to a more residential area than the past by expencing natural places.
In 1936, the region was contained with more and untouched natural features like more green trees and a long river which was surrounded with a vast pristine land, while after about 47 years this area became a crowded residential area.
According to these maps, it is easily revealed that the southeast of Lynnfield was dedicated to Farmland and Government office in 1936 but over the time, a Golf course was held on the former place of farmland and the building of Government office was changed to a Museum.
By passing several decades, the cycle path which was located in the southwest was changed to a Road for circulation of vehicles.
Unfortunately the amount of north western trees dramatically decreased amongst this mentioned period of time.
The bank, library and post office in the central part of this city remained at their initial locations. However, the little commercials in 1936 disappeared and a huge supermarket settled in their former places.
A Travel agent was built at the ancient place of the Flower shop and a large shopping centre was added to the central part of this city.
