Essay topics:

The graph below shows the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean Island between 2010 and 2017.

The line graph illustrates the volume of visitors to certain parts of Caribbrean island from 2010 to 2017

In general, it is clear that the total island’s visitors count mounted up considerably almost every year over a 7-year period. Moreover, the figure for tourists staying on liners witnessed a dramatic increase, overtaking those who stayed on island starting from 2016
Looking more closely at the graph, the total number of arrivals visiting this island rose steadily from 1 million in 2010 to roughly 2,75 million in 2015 and stabilized till 2016. After that, it dramatically went up more than 0.5 million.

Moving to the volume of visitors who stayed on the island, the figure did not alter much till 2011, which was about 0.7 million people. It then increased significantly around 1 million between 2011 and 2013. Reaching 1.5 million visitors in 2013, the number then marginally stood at 1.5 in 2017 after hitting a small trough in the previous year. In addition, there was only a minority of tourists staying on island, fewer than the number of those who lived on cruise ships 0.5 million in 2010. Furthermore, after some fluctuations over a 3-year period, it remarkably rocketed 2 million of arrivals, overtaking the number of those staying on liners from 2013 to 2017.
