The bar chart provided depicts the employment categories of adult population in the US over a period of 10 years from 2003 to 2013.
Overall, it is evident that the percentage of medical, business and unemployed in the US witnessed a downward trend after a period surveyed whereas the opposite was true of the remaining figures.
As can be seen from the bar chart given, there was a surge of the proportion of adults employed in education training and hotel industry from 2003 to 2013 to about 18% and 19%, respectively. The portion of business ranked in the first in 2003 with almost 47% and plummeted to merely 28% in 2013, while that of self employed leapt between 2003 and 2013 to approximately 31% and ranked in the first position.
As far as the bar chart is concerned, there was a negative correlation between the figure for medical and that of building, in which the former crashed to about 10% and the latter bounced to almost 20% in 2013. The percentage of unemployed witnessed a slight decrease to merely 5% from 2003 to 2013.
