The graph provides information about how many million people visit six different art galleries around the world, namely Louvre, Metropolitan Museum, British Museum, National Museum of Korea, Museo del Prado and State Hermitage, in the year 2011.
Overall, France’s museum received the highest number of visitor in general. Whilst, the museum of Korea, Spain and Russia had an almost identical figure, these number were much lower than USA and the UK, especially the Louvre in France.
The figure of the Louvre art gallery was just below 9 million, which was about 3 million higher than the Metropolitan Museum and the British Museum. To be precise, the number of visitors came to these two museums varied at 6 million people. In comparison with the three lowest galleries in term of visitor, the Louvre’s figure was tripled. In order words, in 2011, there was just about 3 million people visit the National Museum of Korea as well as the Museo del Prado of Spain and the State Hermitage of Russia.
