The graph shows the number of visitors to two museums in a country from 2000 to 2015.
The line graph illustrates how many people visited two museums in one country in a fifteen-year period, between 2000 and 2015.
From an overall perspective, what stands out from the graph is that this period witnessed considerable fluctuation. Another striking point to note is that in 2000, the number of visitors to the Natural Museum was higher than in History Museum, but in 2015, more visitors chose History Museum instead of another.
Looking at the details, as regards the Natural Museum, the figure for visiting started at 80,000, then it plunged in the next three years and reached over 20,000 visitors in 2003 after recovering to 70,000 in 2004. After that, the figure went down slightly, at which point it remained stable at 50,000 until 2008. In the next two years, the number of people who visited the Natural Museum shot up to a peak of 90,000. Then the figure declined dramatically, finishing at around 40,000 visitors in 2015.
By contrast, the number of History Museum’s visitors went in the opposite direction. Having started at 20,000, the figure then peaked at nearly 90,000 in 2003. The figure fell rapidly in 2004 before fluctuating between around 30,000 and over 40,000 in the period of seven years, from 2004 to 2010. 2011 saw a marginally rise to 50,000. Finally, there was a levelling off in the last 5 years.
