Your child is going on a three-day school trip to another country. The head teacher wants to find parents to go with the group and you would like to go.
Write a letter to the head teacher. In your letter:
-say why you would like to go on the trip.
-suggest what you could do to help during the trip.
-ask details about the trip.
Dear Sir,
I am Shwatank, the father of Kristan, who is a ninth-standard student in your school. I heard from my son that school management is organizing the three day international school trip To India, and I am writing this letter to express my interest as a involvement of parent to accompany children in this trip.
There are two prominent reasons that are strong enough to prove my eligibility for this task. Firstly, I am a native speaker, I can easily act as a translator between students and the Indians. This would be easy for schoolchildren while their stay in India. In addition, I have spent my childhood in India, I can kids around and show them the exquisite destinations of their places of interests.
Moreover, I am aware of Indian culture and traditions. Thus, I will make sure that each student who gets involved in the local activities will learn enough about the India. Chiefly, I would ensure their safety and security for all of the pupils. And, I assure you that all children will have adequate amount of sleep and eat a healthy diet their entire vacation.
Finally, if you concur with this application, I would like to get some basic information from you like the number of students traveling, the departure date, and the accommodation services.
I am hoping to receive a positive response from you.
Yours sincerely,
Shwatank Bhasin
