The bar chart shows the number of visitors to four London museums.
The chart displays data concerning the number of visitors to the museums in London over a six-month period, from June to December. Overall, it is readily apparent that the British museum is visited by the vast majority of visitors in August and while the figure for History Museum shows a slight downward trend over the period, there is a negligible change in the number of National Museum visitors.
In June, the History, British and Science Museum had a relatively similar figure with above 400,000 while the lowest belonged to the National Museum with only about 200,000. The figure of the History Museum underwent 2 months of stability before surging to more than 600,000 in August, after that, it plummeted and hit a low of roughly 280,000 in December. The similar pattern occurred in the British Museum with a peak at more than 700,000 in July, however, the number declined significantly by 220,000 to the end of the period.
With regards to the Science Museum, the number of visitors here plateaued in two months and then abruptly rose to 500,000 in September but finally fell to its nadir of 300,000 at the end of the year.
