The diagram illustrates the process of how leather products are made for trade.
It is clear that there are eleven distinct stages are shown on this process, beginning with gathering animals’ skin followed by drying phase ending with real leather products.
At the first stage in making leather products, Animals’ skins are collected from several sources; often times from forests, wilderness and jungles. Animals’ skins are then transferred to factory by truck in which they are rinsed with water and lime. Afterwards, animals’ skins are then soaked in lime before putting it into flattening machine which flattens them out.
Then, for the second time in a raw, the skins are soaked but in tannin, which consist of water and vegetable matter. Next, they are being polished by another machine before being moved by lorry. Later, the skins are delivered to the factory, where they are finalist before being distributed to markets for consumption.
