The given graph illustrates how many people came to three different museums from 2000 to 2005.
Overall, it is noticeable to see that the figure for the National Museum in China and MET one in New York both experienced an upward trend, while individuals traveled to Edo museum in Tokyo less and less.
In 2000, the statistic of MET museum started at 12 million, before leveling off at 6 million in 2002. In the interim, the number of citizens visiting the museum in Tokyo remained stable at around 13,5 million, followed by a considerable fall of 4 million in the year 2002. The data of the National museum kept going up gradually from approximately 6 million in 2000 to 9 million in 2002.
In the following years, starting in 2003, the figure for China's museum continued its upward trend and peaked at almost 16 million. Meanwhile, the number of visitors to both MET and Edo museum underwent a steady rise of 7 million and 4 million, respectively.
