The table compares the proportion of children of two different schools in terms of educational problems during the years 2005 and 2015
It is obvious that the percentage of school A faced with seven educational problems was higher in both years. However, meanwhile, there was a significant decrease in the number of students with educational difficulties at school A; school B saw an overall rise in the number of students facing those drawbacks
In 2005, following instruction is the most difficult problem that students in school A found at 42%, whereas only 6% of pupils in school B experienced this problem. Similarly, between 30% and 40% of children in school A had difficulties in the areas of spelling, listening skills, verbal expression of ideas, and concentration in lessons while these figures in school B remain only from 5% to 15%.
In 2015, a dramatic reduction was obviously seen in the number of children who faced problems of concentration in lesson, following instructions with 18% of both areas. Also, the proportion of students who struggled with verbal expression of ideas, listening skills,s, and spelling fell by 21%, 20%, 25% respectively. In contrast, in school B, the percentage of students who had problems with following instructions, spelling doubled, to 12% and 10% respectively. There was no change in concentration in lessons, handwriting in this school.
