Task 1: The maps below show the changes in an Art Centre from 2010 to today.
The map below depicts the alteration of an Art Centre from 2010 to the present.
Overall, it can be seen that things have drastically changed over the period of 12 years.
First of all, a branch leading to the facilities is constructed from the separated main road in 2010. Below it stood an open-air car park. However, this park was demolished in order to make way for a multipurpose car park.
In the middle of the park, the theatre’s capacity was expanded with 100 new seats added to the already available 200 seats. To the right of the theatre, it is clear that the cinema was moved outside with 3 screens to clear space for the art galleries. Moreover, the art galleries’ building is extended with a small path connecting to the main road. Right below the said structures lies the reconstructed café from its old position in 2010, at the bottom right corner of the cinema.
