The pie charts below show the devices people in the 18 to 25 age group use to watch television in Canada in two different years.
The two pie charts juxtapose various sorts of equipment used by people aged 18 - 25 to enjoy TV programs in Canada in 2009 and 2019.
An initial inspection of the charts reveals considerable changes in the percentages. Another notable point is the transition from conventional TV to other more advanced facilities in 2019.
The usage of conventional TV was dominant with one-third of people using it in 2009. However, it took a nosedive to below 5% in 2019. The same trend was also seen in the data of two kinds of computer users. While laptop usage percentage declined from one-fifth to over 10%, a 6% drop was recorded in the desktop computer sector within 10 years.
The other factors in the pie chart had a similar increasing trend. The most significant improvement belonged to the data of flatten-screen TV, with an approximately one-fifth surge within a decade. The two remaining devices also recorded an enormous accrue, 14% for the tablet’s figure, and 11% for the mobile phone’s.
