The table below gives information about the temperatures and hours of daylight in two cities in May 2007.
The tables depict a report of the temperature and hours of daylight in 2 cities which are Mumbai ( in Asia) and Moscow (in Europe) in May 2007. In general, Mumbai seemed to be warmer than Moscow. However, Moscow had higher numbers hours of daylight than Mumbai did.
It is clear to see the difference in the temperature between two cities. In Mumbai, the maximum temperature rose up to around 33 Celsius degree. On the other hands, the lowest temperature there dropped to 29 Celsius degree and remained for 3 last days of the week. On the contrary with Mumbai, Moscow was colder. Despite the highest temperature, it was from 8 to 10 Celsius degree, being much more lower than Mumbai. Moreover, in the most freezing coldest period days, it was only 4 Celsius degree, then went up to 9 on Saturday before falling into 3 on the following day.
Although Mumbai was hotter than Moscow, the figure of hours of daylight showed the opposite trend. In Mumbai, a day began at 6 a.m in survey’s day,ending approximately at 4 p.m , lasting for 10 hours. In contrast, a day in Moscow started earlier; the sun rose almost at 5 a.m and the sunset was nearly at 10 p.m. The numbers hours that daylight accounted for was about 17 hours; it was over a half of a day’s time.
