The plans below show a public park when it first opened in 1920 and the same park today.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The provided maps illustrate the primary layout of a public park in 1920 and it's current blueprint to describe the changes.
Overall, the current layout demonstrates major infrastructural changes, in addition to the establishment of new features.
Firstly, the most conspicuous of all is that the fountain at the center is replaced by a large rose garden which is surrounded by four seating areas from each direction. Previously, if you walked left along the Eldon street, you would see a rose garden and some seats. However, not only these but also the previous stage have been removed. These infrastructures have been substituted with a large amphitheatre for concerts.
It is also worth pointing out that the pond for water plants as well as the rose garden beside it are turned into a children's playground and a cafe respectively. Although both entrances remain the same, an entrance with underground car park is also built. Moreover, a new artificial waterfall is constructed by removing the glass house. The rose garden on the left to Arnold Avenue kept unchanged.
