Overall it is clear that the wages increase throughout the period in contract to the price of televisions falling however salary remained low most of the time
In 1970 the prices of black and white tv was the highest at 110 thousands of yen while the salary of japanese people was nearly 20 thousands yen. This was over one fìfth in comparison with the cost of black and white tv. From 1970 to 1980 the prices of black and white television fell sharply to about 40 thoundsands yen. And continued to decrease gradually to the end of the period
From 1980 to 1990 the earnings increased whereas the cost of black and white tv decreased. And the prices of color tv were drop and it were the first. However 1990 and 2000 as can be seen the salary increased daramatically. in contract salary of janpaneses people was rose slightly from 1970 to 1995 then increase sharply in last 5 years until peaking at nearly 70000 thousands yen in 2000
